Integrated TLT Master Script

One flowing session: Root Cause · Anxiety · Limiting Beliefs · Inner Conflict

This is a single, integrated session script — it doesn't run the four techniques separately, it weaves them into one pass along the client's timeline: negative emotions and limiting decisions are cleared together at each root event, conflict is checked and resolved whenever it surfaces, and anxiety is handled once the past is clear. Follow the flowchart top to bottom; the branch box shows exactly where to detour into Inner Conflict work.
Scope note: For trained TLT/NLP practitioners running real sessions. Not for use on active trauma, PTSD, psychosis, or suicidal ideation without qualified supervision — refer out instead.

1Setup, Rapport & Outcome2 min
📜 Script
SAY“Before we begin, tell me in a sentence or two what you'd like to change today — and what you'd like to feel or believe instead once we're done.”
DOWrite down the client's exact words for both the problem state and the desired state — you'll reuse this language throughout.
SAY“I'm going to guide you through a process using your own timeline — the felt sense you have of past and future. You'll stay in control the whole time; I'll just be guiding your attention. Is that alright with you?”
DOGet explicit verbal permission before continuing.
2Elicit The Timeline2 min
📜 Script
SAY“Close your eyes. Think of something you did earlier today — like breakfast. Notice where that memory feels like it's located, and point to it.”
DONote the direction pointed (behind/side/front).
SAY“Now think of something from several years ago, and point to that.” ... “Now imagine several years from now, and point to that.”
DOMentally connect the three points — this is the exact line you'll reference in every instruction below (“float back,” “float forward”).
3Root Cause SweepAnger→Guilt · main body
📜 Script — Run This Once Per Emotion, In Order

Run the full block below for Anger first, then repeat it for Sadness → Fear → Hurt → Guilt, in that order. Re-rate intensity (0–10) for all five before starting and after each one — several often drop together.

SAY“Float up above your timeline now, to a height that feels comfortable and safe. From up here, I want you to drift back — above the line, not on it — to the very first time you ever felt this [name emotion]. You're just observing; you don't need to step back into it.”
DOWait for a signal (nod, “I'm there”) that they've arrived at an event — usually earlier than they'd expect.
SAY“Staying up above the scene, what decision did the [age]-year-old make about themselves, other people, or the world, right at this moment?”
DOWrite down the decision verbatim — this is the limiting belief embedded at this root; you'll return to it in Module 6.
SAY“Now, from up above, let that [emotion] go — you can imagine it as a wind blowing through, or the colour draining out of the scene, whatever image comes naturally. Take your time.”
DOWatch for a visible physiology shift (breath, shoulders, facial tension) — that's your release signal.
SAY“Good. Now float forward, still above the line, through any other times this same feeling shows up, all the way to today — just noticing each one is now lighter.”
DORe-rate the emotion 0–10 once they're back at “now.” If not near 0, repeat the release step before moving to the next emotion.
↪ Branch Point
If at any point during this sweep the client hesitates, resists floating back, or reports “something's blocking me” — that's an inner-conflict signal. Pause the sweep and go straight to Module 4 before continuing.
4Conflict Check & Parts IntegrationAs needed
📜 Script — Run Only When Resistance Appears
SAY“It sounds like part of you wants to [go there / release this], and part of you doesn't. Let's give each part a hand. Put the part that wants to move forward on one hand, and the part that's holding back on the other.”
SAY“For this hand — what does it want for you? And if it got that, what would that get you? And that?” (repeat until the answer stops changing)
DORepeat the chaining question for the other hand until both chains land on the same or a clearly compatible higher intention.
SAY“Notice both hands actually want the same thing for you, underneath. When you're ready, let the hands come together, at whatever pace feels right, and let those two parts become one.”
DOOnce hands meet and settle, return directly to wherever you branched from in Module 3 (or later, if triggered from Module 7) and continue.
5Future Timeline: AnxietyIf present
📜 Script — Run If Anxiety About A Future Event Was Named In Module 1
SAY“Think about [the future event]. Notice the picture or movie you run when you think about it — is it close or far away, in colour or grey, are you inside it looking out, or watching yourself from outside?”
DOGet an intensity rating (0–10) before changing anything.
SAY“Step outside that picture now, so you can see yourself in it. Shrink it down, push it further away along your future timeline, and let the colour fade to grey.”
DORe-rate intensity — should drop noticeably. If not, check for a hidden objection (Module 4).
SAY“Now build a new picture — you, calm and capable, handling this exactly the way you'd want to. Make it bright, close, and step into it. When it feels right, float along your timeline through that picture into the day itself.”
6Reinforce The New Belief3 min
📜 Script
SAY“Looking back at each of those root decisions we found — what would you rather have decided, knowing what you know now as an adult?”
DOReference the exact decisions written down in Module 3. Help the client phrase one clear, positive replacement belief.
SAY“Float back to each of those moments, above the timeline, and give that understanding to the younger you — let them make this new decision for themselves.”
SAY“Now float forward through the times this old belief used to show up, all the way to today, and notice how each one looks with the new decision in place.”
7Final Ecology Check2 min
📜 Script
SAY“Before we finish — is there any part of you, however small, that has any objection to feeling and believing this way from now on?”
WATCHPause fully after asking — don't fill the silence. A genuine objection often surfaces a few seconds late.
↪ Branch Point
If an objection surfaces → return to Module 4 (Parts Integration) and resolve it, then repeat this ecology check. If clear → continue to Module 8.
8Future Pace & Close3 min
📜 Script
SAY“Float above your timeline one more time, and travel forward through the next few days and weeks, right up to [the situation named in Module 1]. Step into it, and notice how it feels different now.”
DOAsk for a brief description of what they notice — confirms the change holds under real conditions, not just in theory.
SAY“When you're ready, bring your attention back to this room, open your eyes, and take a moment before we talk.”
DODebrief verbally — ask what shifted, and note anything for follow-up next session.
