Run the full block below for Anger first, then repeat it for Sadness → Fear → Hurt → Guilt, in that order. Re-rate intensity (0–10) for all five before starting and after each one — several often drop together.
SAY“Float up above your timeline now, to a height that feels comfortable and safe. From up here, I want you to drift back — above the line, not on it — to the very first time you ever felt this [name emotion]. You're just observing; you don't need to step back into it.”
DOWait for a signal (nod, “I'm there”) that they've arrived at an event — usually earlier than they'd expect.
SAY“Staying up above the scene, what decision did the [age]-year-old make about themselves, other people, or the world, right at this moment?”
DOWrite down the decision verbatim — this is the limiting belief embedded at this root; you'll return to it in Module 6.
SAY“Now, from up above, let that [emotion] go — you can imagine it as a wind blowing through, or the colour draining out of the scene, whatever image comes naturally. Take your time.”
DOWatch for a visible physiology shift (breath, shoulders, facial tension) — that's your release signal.
SAY“Good. Now float forward, still above the line, through any other times this same feeling shows up, all the way to today — just noticing each one is now lighter.”
DORe-rate the emotion 0–10 once they're back at “now.” If not near 0, repeat the release step before moving to the next emotion.
